Kizuku
Kizuku is a calm puzzle game about noticing. Each scene is a cozy corner of Japan: a ramen stand at sunset, a quiet bathhouse, a koi garden. Somewhere in the picture, one thing is changing. A statue fades away. Sandals appear in a doorway. A koi turns gold.
It happens so slowly your eyes won't catch it. Your brain is built to notice sudden movement, not slow change. Scientists call it change blindness, and it's much stronger than you'd think.
How to play
- Look at the scene and take it all in.
- Tap the change before the incense burns out.
- The sooner you spot it, the more points you get.
- Every wrong tap burns 3 seconds of incense, so guess carefully.
When the time is up, the picture flickers between before and after so you can see what you missed. It's often something you looked right at.
Features
- 6 hand-picked scenes, with more on the way
- Unlock each new scene by finding the change in the one before
- A gentle, cozy look with a little tension in the final seconds
- Watch the change again at high speed after each scene
- Plays on desktop and mobile, with no download
Why "Kizuku"? 気づく (kizuku) is Japanese for "to notice". That's the whole game.
